Xenergie

Background

Xenergie is a coaching and personal development company based in the West of Ireland. The company facilitates people from around the world to live more fulfilled lives, explore new directions, and develop winning behaviours.

Challenge – Phase 1

In the first phase of work, Xenergie asked us to:

    Improve the layout, structure and look-and-feel of its website

  • Improve the performance of the website in search engines
  • Provide a way for the website content to be updated by staff
  • Make the website capable of capturing and delivering customer enquiries
  • Provide a way of measuring the performance of the website

Solution – Phase 1

Among the services we provided were:

  • Design of a new logo
  • Information Architecture workshop with the client, to devise the site structure and navigation.
  • Redesign of website, based on the Xenergie’s brief.
  • Integration of Content Management System
  • Ongoing technical support

Results – Phase 1

Within a few weeks of going live with the new website, Xenergie began showing up in Google for many relevant search queries. The site began to generate customer enquiries.

Xenergie began to receive positive feedback about its website from customers.

Challenge – Phase 2

In the second phase, Xenergie asked us to add additional features to the CMS. They also asked us to design and build an eCommerce solution.

Solution – Phase 2

We created a Shop section on the website, where Xenergie’s customers could buy products and services, and book workshops.

We provided a back-end Administration Tool for this Shop section, which allowed the client to:

  • Add, edit or delete products
  • Modify prices at any time
  • Create or edit categories
  • Issue vouchers, which customers can enter during online to obtain a discount
  • View reports of customer purchases, attempted purchases, and shipping details

We also upgraded the CMS and added new features as requested by the client.

Results – Phase 2

Xenergie regularly uses the enhanced CMS to keep its website content up-to-date and search engine friendly.

The company now makes its Workshops available in its online store, and has begun receiving payments through the website.

The website has become a vital part of Xenergie’s growth, and it expects to develop its online services even further in the near future.
