Our Bespoke Reporting Tool

When running an eCommerce site, you need to know what your customers bought, when they bought it, their contact details, etc.

Heraghty Internet Consultants will provide an easy-to-use reporting tool, which will give you details of each purchase — or attempted purchase.

These reports will be owned and controlled by you, and will be independent of the reports provided by the payment processing company.

Recording Failed Purchase Attempts

Many eCommerce site owners simply rely on the reports that are generated by third party payment processors, e.g. PayPal. However, this may cause problems, for example:

• The customer was ready to make a purchase on your site but their internet connection went down and they weren’t able to make a payment on the PayPal page
• The customer didn’t leave contact details on the PayPal page
• The customer’s credit card was refused by PayPal

In these cases, PayPal may not send you a report of the attempted transaction, so if the customer gets in touch to query or complain, you won’t have any record of their attempted purchase.
