Web Prototyping with Wireframes

At Heraghty Internet Consultants, we can rapidly produce web-based prototypes, also known as wireframes.

Our wireframes are interactive – you can view them in your web browser. Our sophisticated prototyping tecnhiques allow us to mock up both simple (e.g. page menus) and complex (e.g. AJAX-enabled) features.

Visualisation

Heraghty Internet wireframes provide a great way to visualise your application’s business logic. They allow you to envisage page layouts and specific user pathways through your application or website, before a line of development code has been written.

Scenario Testing

Our wireframes are great for examining potential usage scenarios, e.g. what happens if the user enters their password incorrectly? What if the user tries to deduct more money than is available in their account?

Our wireframes can also be used for usability testing on real users –- helping you identify and solve user experience problems before you even start coding.

Prototyping as a Standalone Service

We are happy to design and build your prototypes as part of an end-to-end solution, i.e. prior to design and developing the client’s application.

Alternatively, if you already have a relationship with a web design or development company, we can design a prototype that you can deliver to your preferred partner. Indeed, some of our clients have used our wireframes in lieu of specifications documents.

Iterative Process

We develop wireframes iteratively. For smaller websites, we will create the entire prototype and get your feedback, then modify as requried.

For larger or more complex websites, we initially create an agreed set of pages. After getting your feedback, we continue to add new pages, as well as modifying the original ones. The process continues in this way.

We may gather feedback through one or more workshops, or by phone/email, depending on the project requirements.
